CJ 2001 - LANYARD

Hi folks this is my first try at a web page so please be patient:

CJ ’01 “Fishing Village Project”

This was one of the project sights at this Canadian Jamboree.
A team from Nova Scotia, headed by John Cross, presented this project.
The project’s objective was to give participants an overview of typical day in the life of an East Coast fisher.

In the village youi would hve been exposed to many of the jobs and pastimes of a typical resident. For a fisher rope work is and importnat skill associated with the job. This spicifec chalinage the building of the lanyard pictured here.

On the next page is a detailed instruction on how to build the lanyard
